My collage works are all created from my paintings and drawings, chopped and puzzled into compositions that intend to invite into realms your own memories and imaginations can furnish. Rather than clipping magazines or other artifacts, rather than executing collages based on a still life or an existing scene, I venture—or stumble—into the realm of play: creativity at its purest and least encumbered. My collages are meant to suggest that we can find ourselves, reflected in the familiar objects we have gathered.
